My Happy Place

I call my Potager my happy place. It is my place to unwind, relax and enjoy the simple pleasures of nature.

The simplest things make me happy. Like sturdy little bean plants appearing.

And abundant healthy looking green tomatoes!

These are the promises of good things to come. And is there anything more lovely than a corner overflowing with cucumbers and squash?

The pleasures of actually gathering food - and the pleasures of future food to come. 

And the pleasure of flowers, those that will turn into food, but those that are simply there for beauty and attracting pollinators.  You can't be stressed or angry in a garden. It is truly a happy place to be!
